So, gather your friends, dust off your cocktail shaker, and prepare for a day of chocolate-infused cocktails that are a whole new level of deliciousness.
Here are our top 5 cocktail ideas for World Chocolate Day!
1. White Chocolate Martini
Ingredients:
20g grated white chocolate
1 tsp maple syrup or honey
25ml double cream
50ml Dingle Vodka
¼ tsp vanilla bean paste
Ice
Equipment:
Martini glass
Cocktail shaker
Jigger or measuring tool
Strainer
Instructions:
Brush the rim of a martini glass with a small amount of maple syrup or honey.
Dip the rim of the glass into the grated white chocolate (give it a nice thick coating) and place into the fridge to chill for a few minutes.
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
Vigorously shake the cocktail shaker until the outside feels ice-cold (approximately 20-30 seconds).
Remove the chilled martini glass from the fridge.
Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass, making sure no ice shards are included.
Serve immediately while it's cold and creamy.
2. Chocolate Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
60ml Bourbon
21ml Sweet Vermouth
4 dashes Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters
Cocoa powder
Ice
Orange peel or cherry for garnishing (optional)
Equipment:
Mixing glass
Bar spoon
Strainer
Jigger or measuring tool
Coupe glass
Instructions:
Moisten the rim of the coupe glass with a bit of water and dip it into a plate of cocoa powder.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the mixing glass and fill with ice.
Stir the mixture gently with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds, or until well-chilled.
Strain the cocktail into the coupe glass and garnish with an orange peel or cherry.
3. Grasshopper
Ingredients
60ml heavy cream
Ice
Freshly grated nutmeg for garnishing (optional)
Equipment:
Cocktail shaker
Jigger or measuring tool
Chilled coupe or martini glass
Instructions:
Place the cocktail glass in the freezer to chill.
Using a jigger or measuring tool, pour your ingredients into the cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
Shake well for about 15-20 seconds, or until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
Remove the chilled glass from the freezer. Place the Hawthorne strainer over the top of the shaker and strain the cocktail into the glass.
Freshly grate a small amount of nutmeg over the top of the drink for added flavour and aroma (optional).
Serve your Grasshopper immediately while it is still cold and frothy.
4. Bushwacker

Ingredients:
60ml Canerock Spiced Rum
60ml whole milk
30ml cream of coconut
Chocolate sauce
Grated chocolate, nutmeg, and cherries for garnishing (optional)
Ice
Equipment:
High-powered blender
Jigger or measuring tool
Tall glass (16oz) or hurricane glass
Instructions:
Place your glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to chill.
Using a jigger or measuring tool, pour all the ingredients into a blender and fill with ice.
Blend on high speed for 20-25 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and creamy and the ice is completely crushed. The consistency should resemble a thick milkshake.
Remove the chilled glass from the freezer and drizzle the inside with chocolate sauce before pouring in the blended Bushwacker.
Garnish with shaved chocolate, a sprinkle of nutmeg, and a cherry or two (optional).
5. Reese’s Manhattan

Ingredients:
1.5 cups Sheep Dog Peanut Butter Whiskey
1 cup Powers Rye Whiskey
¾ cup Nardini Amaro
12 dashes Fee Brothers Aztec Chocolate Bitters
Equipment:
Shaker Tin Set
Jigger
Hawthorne Strainer
Bar Spoon
Coupe glass
Instructions:
Place your coupe glass in the freezer to chill.
Using the jigger, measure and pour your ingredients into the shaker tin and fill with ice.
Close the shaker tin and stir well for 30 seconds using the bar spoon.
Remove the coupe glass from the freezer, hold the Hawthorne strainer over it and pour in the cocktail from the shaker tin through the strainer, filtering out any ice.
If desired, garnish the drink with a mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cup or a few chocolate shavings.
Serve immediately and enjoy it while it’s still cold!
