A wine that harks back to the beginnings of the illustrious Chateau Valandraud as it is made in the same 'garage' where Valandraud was born. The Clos Badon estate was acquired by Jean Luc Thunevin and his wife Murielle Andraud in 1998, after their tremendous success with Chateau Valandraud, 1st Grand Cru Classé of St Emilion and the wine is made by Murielle Andraud.
A traditional blend of 50% Merlot, 50% Cabernet Franc, all harvesting is done by hand and the wine is aged for 18 to 22 months in new French oak barrels. It is equally as impressive as the Chateau wines and is bursting with rich and complex flavours.
