El Jimador tequila has been produced by Herradura since 1994, located a few kilometres from Guadalajara, capital of the state of Jalisco.
'El Jimador' is the name given to the reaping masters who work in the agave fields, and it is to them, that El Jimador is dedicated to and named after.
