Valentine's Day is this Wednesday, and what better way to celebrate love than with a tantalising cocktail? Whether you're planning a cozy night in watching rom-coms or a romantic dinner for two, these delicious concoctions are sure to set the mood and elevate your evening. From fruity and floral to decadent and indulgent, here are some Valentine's Day cocktails to sip with your sweetheart.

1) Love Potion No. 9 


30ml Shortcross Rye Malt Irish Whiskey

30ml Grand Marnier

30 Cranberry juice

60 La Farra Valdobbiadene Prosecco Frizzante



Cocktail Shaker


Step 1) Add the whiskey, Grand Marnier, and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake until cold, and strain into a chilled coupe glass. 

2) Pink Negroni


35ml Malfy Gin Rosa 

25ml Regal Rogue Wild Rosé vermouth

15ml Aperol or Campari 


Drinks Botanicals Dehydrated Grapefruit Slices, for garnish 


Step 1) Add the pink gin, vermouth and Aperol to a tumbler with one large ice cube. Stir until the outside of the glass feels cold.

Step 2) Garnish with a dried grapefruit wheel. 

3) “I Choo-Choo-Choose You” Cherry Old Fashioned 


50ml Powers Rye Whiskey

15ml Cherry Heering

10ml Mozart Gold Chocolate Liqueur

2 dashes Angostura Bitters 

Equipment: mixing glass, strainer


Step 1) Combine all ingredients to a mixing glass. 

Step 2) Strain into a tumbler with ice and garnish with a Luxardo or Marashino cherry. 

4) Love Potion Martini 


Fresh raspberries for garnish

Equipment: Cocktail shaker. 

Step 1) Fill a shaker with all ingredients. 
Step 2) Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass.
Step 3) Garnish with fresh raspberries for an extra romantic touch.

5) Strawberry Sangria


1 bottle of Romain Duvernay Cotes du Rhone rosé wine

100ml istil Pink vodka

50ml The Bitter Truth Elderflower Liqueur

1 cup sliced strawberries

1/2 punnet raspberries

1/2 punnet blackberries

Edible rose petals for garnish


Step 1) In a large pitcher, combine rosé wine, strawberry vodka, elderflower liqueur, and sliced strawberries. Add raspberries and blackberries and stir gently to combine.

Step 2) Chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving.

Step 3) Pour into glasses filled with ice and garnish with edible rose petals for a romantic flair.
