In 2007, aspiring Whiskey-maker Raj Bhakta purchased a plot of land called Whistle Pig Farm. He teamed up with master distiller Dave Pickerell—formerly of Maker’s Mark—to bring genuine Rye Whiskey back to the forefront of American Whiskies.
They set about the idea that all aspects of Whiskey production would be on site -- from growing the grain to bottling the spirit. The dream became a reality in 2015. Since then, they have been experimenting with over varieties of Rye Whiskeys and are gaining attention all over the world.
