What marks the first time Vinhos Barbeito have bottled a 2007 Malvasia as a single cask colheita. This wine was vinified in a horizontal screw press and fortified in a medium sweet state. It began aging in warehouse D, with high temperatures, where it quickly gained concentration. In 2017, the cask was transferred to warehouse E, which, being cooler, allowed for a slower and more balanced evolution of the wine in its connection between acidity and sugar. Offers a good concentration on the palate with flavors of yellow fruit jam, and the present acidity plays an important role in the balance and freshness of the tasting.
