Château d'Esclans
Château d'Esclans has been owned and run by Sacha Lichine since 2006. The estate is nestled in the cool hills in the heart of Provence. Sacha teamed up with Patrick Leon (formally the Managing Director of Mouton Rothschild) to begin creating their rose brands. This elevated site is most famous for its Old Vine Grenache, much of which was planted in the early part of the 20th century.
The vines are hand-picked and blended with equally cared for Vermentino. The top cuvées are then oak-aged. Their coveted Garrus, often regarded as 'the best rosé in the world' by critics globally. The rosés of Chateau d’Esclans are popular with celebrities around the world, from Bono, to Noel Gallagher to David Beckham and Jeremy Clarkson.
