Maturation

First matured in American Oak giving it its full bodied and honey profile. Then, it was finished in a French Oak barrel infused with the finest Bordeaux wine from its initial use.

Aroma

Velvety honey, with stewed fruit, poached pear and blackcurrant. Vanilla, toffee and spice comes next, along with notes of pastry and white chocolate. All accompanied by a hint of minerality and herbal freshness.

Flavour

Rich, silky texture. The stewed apples and poached pear are joined by tropical fruit (banana and pineapple) and a malty sweetness.
