Here's a superb white wine from Sierra de Málaga Designation of Origin. The soil is very chalky and marks the mineral character of the wine. Made from handpicked White Grenache Viognier and Vigiriega and aged for 6 months. Expect notes of pears, wildflowers, thyme, rose, and rosemary with good acidity and a long finish. Only 3000 bottles!

At 900m above sea level, the Cortijo estate is located in a special microclimate and declared a Biosphere Reserve in 1995. Cortijo Los Aguilares has made a name for itself thanks to its Petit Verdot and particularly to its award-winning Pinot Noir.
