Galliano

Liquore Galliano L'Autentico, known more commonly as Galliano, is a sweet herbal liqueur, created in 1896 by Italian distiller and brandy producer Arturo Vaccari of Livorno, Tuscany and named after Giuseppe Galliano, an Italian officer of the Royal Italian Army of the First Italo-Ethiopian War.

The recipe reads more like a medieval elixir with some 30 herbs, spices, and plant extracts. This creates a perfectly balanced handcrafted artisanal spirit.

To this day the Galliano recipe remains a guarded secret. Here is just a handful of the extracts: Mediterranean Anise, Juniper, Musk Yarrow, Star Anise, Lavender, Peppermint, Cinnamon, Vanilla.

Galliano has earned bronze and silver medals from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
