Made in the Los Altos Distillery which was founded in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena. It is now run by his grandson Carlos who strives to honour the traditions of his ancestor. The distillery is part of the community and many employees work alongside brothers, sister, and parents. Once the agave pinas are cooked they are crushed in a traditional tahona pit with a stone that weigh two tonnes. This reposado is aged for 9-11 months which carefully creates a sweet and smoky flavour.
