Dingle Gin Orange & Sea Salt is a striking new release, drawing inspiration from the dramatic landscapes of Ireland’s Atlantic coast. Developed in partnership with West of Dingle Sea Salt, this expression brings together lively citrus notes and a delicate touch of salinity, creating a fresh and well-balanced variation of the renowned Dingle Gin.
Built on the same celebrated botanical base as the original, this edition introduces two distinctive elements that reflect the character of the Dingle Peninsula.
The citrus profile comes from carefully sourced Spanish oranges, which are individually prepared, washed, cut, and deseeded before being macerated and distilled in a dedicated small copper still. This process allows for maximum flavour capture, resulting in bright, vibrant orange notes with a natural sweetness and layered complexity.
To enhance and balance the citrus, locally harvested sea salt from West of Dingle is incorporated into the final spirit. Produced by a family-run operation on the peninsula, this pure, unprocessed Atlantic salt contributes a gentle minerality and soft coastal influence, adding depth without overpowering the gin’s freshness.
The finished gin is lively, crisp, and unmistakably coastal in character perfect served with a quality tonic, a slice of fresh citrus, or as a versatile base for modern gin cocktails.
