Spooky Season is here and that means it's time to get creative with your Halloween celebrations. Whether you're hosting a costume party or simply looking to add a touch of macabre magic to your evening, these cocktails are the perfect way to set the mood. From eerie elixirs to blood-red concoctions, we've rounded up some ghoulishly delightful drink recipes. 




1) Witch's Brew:

Ingredients:

1 ½ oz Midori

1 ½ oz Cointreau or Triple Sec

1 oz Mixer Lemon Juice

For the garnish: 1 small dry ice cube, cocktail cherry


Equipment: Mixing glass or cocktail shaker


Method:

Add the Midori, Cointreau and lemon juice to a cocktail mixing glass (or cocktail shaker). Add 2 handfuls of regular ice cubes and stir until cold. Strain the drink into a lowball glass. Garnish with a cocktail cherry and add the dry ice cube. 


 


2) Vampire's Kiss:


Ingredients:

2 oz Absolut Raspberri

1 oz Teichenné Raspberry Liqueur 

1/2 oz Monin Grenadine

1 oz cranberry juice

Fresh raspberries for garnish


Method:


In a shaker, combine the raspberry vodka, raspberry liqueur, grenadine, and cranberry juice.


Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled glass.


Garnish with fresh raspberries, and let the "blood" drip down the sides for that authentic vampire feel.


 


3) Zombie Cocktail


1oz Plantation Original Dark Rum

1oz Bacardi

1oz Mixer lime juice

2oz pineapple juice

ice

1 tsp Monin grenadine



Method:


Combine the rums and fruit juices in a cocktail shaker and shake well. 

Pour ice into a tall glass and pour the mixture in

Slowly pour in the grenadine to add colour

Garnish with an orange wedge and a skewer of maraschino cherries




4) Poison Apple Martini


Ingredients:


2 oz Highbank Orchards Organic Apple Vodka 

1 oz Edinburgh Apple & Spice Gin Liqueur

1/2 oz Mixer lemon juice

1/2 oz Monin Sugar cane syrup

Red apple slice for garnish


Method:

In a shaker, combine the sour apple vodka, apple schnapps, lemon juice, and simple syrup.

Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with a thin slice of a red apple, which resembles the wicked poison apple from fairy tales.


 


5) Death in the Afternoon


Ingredients:

1 oz (2 tablespoons) La Fee Absinthe Parisienne Superieure

1 tsp Monin Sugar Cane syrup

4 oz (½ cup) La Farra Valdobbiadene Prosecco Frizzante  


Method:

Pour the absinthe and simple syrup into a cocktail glass. Top it off with the prosecco.
