Whether you’re a gin-enthusiast or trying it for the first time, Ginuary is a great time to get excited about gin! So, what is Ginuary? Ginuary is a celebration of gin during the month of January and raises a glass to all kinds of gin, whether it’s your standard G&T, pink, sloe, navy strength and much more!

Originally used for its medicinal purposes, the name may have come from a Flemish word “genever” or “jenever” and then it was eventually shortened to “gin”, as it is known today. It is made from a distilled grain as well as berries from the coniferous juniper shrub and along with other botanicals.
