Velho Barreiro

IRB - Indústria Reunidas de Bebidas Tatuzinho 3 Fazendas Ltda. was founded in 1950 in the city of Piracicaba, in the interior of São Paulo. They have since grown to become one of the most important cachaça manufacturers in Brazil for their renowned brands such as Velho Barreiro, Tatuzinho, and 3 Farms.

In 1999, it launched the Velho Barreiro Gold version (aged cachaça).

In 2005, in order to increase its cast of "premium" products, Velho developed the Special Gold Edition in an exclusive 700 ml gold-plated package.

Currently, Velho Barreiro can be found in more than 40 countries all around the world. Velho Barreiro is the key ingredient in Brazil's most famous cocktail called Caipirinha.
