When Prohibition outlawed the manufacture and sale of alcoholic beverages in 1920, many enterprising residents of a small town in Iowa chose to produce their whiskey known as Templeton Rye. These bootleggers and their famous whiskey quickly brought notoriety to the tiny town of Templeton with a population of just 362.
Distilled from a mash bill of 95% Rye and 5% Malted barley it is matured to perfection in new flame charred American oak barrels for a minimum of 4 years.
