Royal Lochnagar
Royal Lochnagar distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery based on the Abergeldie Estate on Royal Deeside, in the Highland whisky-producing area of Scotland. The distillery had a difficult beginning, having been burned down more than once by competitors in the early 1800s. The distillery changed its name to Royal Lochnagar in 1848 upon receiving a royal warrant by Queen Victoria. Today, Royal Lochnagar is owned by Diageo and produces only a small amount of whiskey, most of which is used in Johnnie Walker Blue and Black label.
