Glenrothes Distillery

In contradiction to its name, Glenrothes Distillery is nowhere near the town of the same name but is actually in the town of Rothes in Speyside. It was founded in 1879 by James Stuart and Reverend William Sharp. Until recently, Glenrothes Distillery has only released the single malt in 'vintage' bottlings. Glenrothes currently has two ranges under its name: The Soleo Collection, which features their aged single malts, and their Aqua Collection.
