This fresh and fruity red wine is made using Touriga Nacional, better known as the Queen of all Portuguese grapes! Bursting with notes of blackberry, cherry, plum and cranberry, hints of spice and licorice. Unoaked, fruit-forward style that will pair well with a variety of dishes, especially red meat, lentil stew or cheese board.

Producer

Located outside of the ancient Roman city of Evora in the sunny hills of Alentejo, lies FitaPreta winery. Founded in 2004 as a partnership between António and the British viticulturist David Booth, FitaPreta has been busy establishing itself as the New Portugal wines, frequently earning Antonio accolades like “Winemaker of the Year.” All the wines are made as a reflection of the region, using only indigenous varieties. Must-try wines for fans of Portuguese wines or those looking for something a bit different!
