In 1835 Owen Fee, County Monaghan born, set sail for America. From there, he opened a butcher shop and started a family. His sons went on to found James Fee and Brothers, later renamed Fee Brothers.
Fee Brothers has been a family-run business since 1864. Fee Brothers is now owned and operated by Ellen and Joe Fee, the fourth generation. They are well known for their Fee Brothers Bitters range, a staple in any cocktail mix.
Today, Fee Brothers is still stretching and expanding. The product list boasts almost 100 drink mix products. Fee Brothers' market stretches from coast to coast in the United States. Products are also shipped to six continents. Fee Brothers sells their products to a variety of different types of distributors as well as restaurants, bars, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and other food service operations.
