James suckling 99+/100
Tim Atkin - 96/100
The nose is Intense, complex and densely packed with aromas of black fruits, violets, cassis, blueberries, mocha, sweet spice, garrigue and menthol.
The palate is medium bodied and surprisingly open. Incredible complexity with similar flavours to the nose. Very ripe, grippy tannins and a fine balancing, acidic backbone lead to a chocolaty finish with incredible length and consistency. Will drink well for the next 40+ years.
