Craigellachie
Craigellachie distillery, founded in 1891, is located in the heart of the Speyside near the little town of Craigellachie/Banffshire. The distillery was founded in 1891 at the peak of the whisky boom and has survived until today. The Gaelic name translates to “Rocky Hill”, in reference to the hill overlooking the town where the distillery is situated. During its history, the distillery has released only a handful of official bottlings. The distillery's product is currently primarily used for Dewar's blended whisky.
