Capel

In 1938, a long journey of 25 members began in the valleys of the IV region who united for a common dream: to build the Capel Cooperative.

The distillery found its home in northern Chile just outside of Vicuña in the strikingly beautiful Elqui Valley, tucked away in the high altitudes of the Andes. The wine-growing region of the Andes is renowned for its varieties of Muscat grapes and is home of the bestselling brand of Chilean pisco. The 100% natural brandy is double distilled in small batches from Muscat, Pedro-Jimenez, and Torontel grapes and pristine spring water drawn from the nearby mountains. After distillation, the young brandy is triple filtered and bottled at 80 proof.

Capel Premium Pisco is another notable mention in their portfolio. The glistening, summer-coloured pisco is generously aromatic with an alluring herbal and fruit bouquet. Its fresh grape aromas maintain their intensity for an impressively long time. The silky textured brandy is rich with spice, herbs, and peppery fruit flavours with a long, delightful finish.
