Bundaberg Distillery

In 1888, seven Bundaberg locals had an idea: to take the by-product from the growing sugar industry and open up a rum distillery. Their ingenuity and determination have gone on to define the character of the Bundaberg Rum Distillery.

Bundaberg pride themselves on keeping all their ingredients local. The rich, red volcanic soil of the local Bundaberg area is the key ingredient for the distillery to grow their sugar cane, which leads to the bold and rich taste characteristic of their rums. 

Bundaberg's rums have gone on to won top honours at the world’s most prestigious drinks awards: The World Drinks Awards in London and The San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
