Founder Don Andres Brugal Montaner moved to the Dominican Republic with one idea: to perfect the art of rum-making. In 1888, the Brugal company was born.
Nearly 130 years and five generations later, the rum is still crafted by the Brugal Family under the words of their founder, "Passion, dedication, and hard work."
Brugal has seen much success since, with the launch of its first super premium rum, Papá Andrés, in 2013 which is awarded World’s Best Super Premium Rum
