Since the foundation of Vinhos Barbeito, in 1946, and for many years Mr. Manuel Eugénio Fernandes has supplied Sercial and Verdelho grapes to Vinhos Barbeito. This vintage series of bottlings pay tribute to Mr. Manuel Eugénio as a way of enduring the long-term relationship between their families. Elegant on the palate with citrus flavors and a fantastic bittersweet that balances the fresh and seductive long finish. Limited to just 650 bottles, all individually numbered.

Producer

Vinhos Barbeito was founded in 1946 by Mario Barbeito de Vasconcelas and has since then been run by members of the family. The family have continued with great dedication toward making high-quality wine. In May 2012, Jancis Robinson described the estate '...But the established star of this atmospheric Atlantic island is Vinhos Barbeito, whose super-pure, almost crystalline wines are made by the gifted Ricardo de Freitas.'
