Description

A fantastically smooth drinking red from the Beaujolais region with soft tannins and an abundance of red fruit flavours. Made using exclusively Gamay grapes, this is made using a semi-carbonic maceration for about 5 days, a technique which is inherently linked with the Beaujolais region from which the wine originates and involves vinifying the grapes as whole bunches. This allows fermentation to initiate within the grapes themselves in order to capture all the flavour of the fruit.

Producer

Château de Corcelles comprises of 92 hectares of vines spread over several terroirs enabling Gamay to express a range of styles. The Château produces Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages and Brouilly in its signature bottle. Other remarkable wines from the Château de Corcelles are also available. The Richard family has proudly continued the house's rich history and tradition and brought a new focus to bear on the quality of the wines.
