Polmos Białystok Distillery

The firm was founded in 1928, under the control of "Polmos", an acronym for "Polski Monopol Spirytusowy" (Polish Spirits Monopoly), a state-owned monopoly in distilled spirits.

There are a few Bison Grass vodka brands on the market, but Polmos Bialystok is the only distillery in Poland authorised to use Zubrówka as its brand name. The Bialystok Distillery is now owned by CEDC, the largest vodka producer in Poland which also produces Absolwent, Bols, and Soplica brands.
