Le Guaite di Noemi
The Pizzighella family has had a deep connection to the land in the hillsides and valleys of Valipolicella. The family owns 10 acres of vineyards in the highest sites around the village of Mezzane di Sotto where they grow exceptional quality Valipolicella grapes.
Much of the estate's grape production was sold to nearby wineries, with a small portion set aside to make wine for the families own personal consumption. With every passing vintage, Noemi’s passion and commitment for her vines and the region grew, and in 2016, with the support of her parents by her side, Noemi took over the day-to-day viticulture and winemaking at the estate. Today, the estate produces 25,000 bottles per year in the traditional styles of the region including Ripasso, Amarone, and Recioto.
