Maturation

Maturation takes place in new French oak for a period of 15 months and then a further 12 months in bottle before release.

Aroma

The nose is intense with powerful aromas of black fruits and sweet spice. Chocolate notes develop in the glass.

Flavour

The palate mirrors the nose and matches its intensity. Juicy tannins and natural acidity give the wine is excellent structure and balance. The finish is long and intense.

Food Matching

Pairs superbly with stews and dry aged beef. Also great with mature cheeses.

Serving Suggestion

Best served between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius.
