Gilbey's

Gilbey’s was founded in 1872 by brothers Walter and Alfred Gilbey, who began distilling in Camden Town, London after the Crimean War. As they became more successful in the 1880s, they acquired whisky distilleries in Scotland, such as Glen Spey and Strathmill, as well as gin distilleries in Canada and Australia.
