Bonac Spirits Distillery

Bonac Spirits Distillery is a true family-owned, handcrafted spirits distillery, started by father and son team, Michael and Gavin Clifford.

After graduating from college, Gavin emigrated to the U.S. and was inspired by the craft drinks movement there while working in the hospitality industry. Once Gavin returned home, they immediately began to research their new adventure. In 2016, they set up the business, started to build out the distillery which is located in Co Wicklow, and began to develop their first product: an innovative Irish gin.

Authenticity, quality, family and innovation are the core values adhered to at the distillery. 

They didn’t want to be “just another Irish gin”. They have created something profoundly different, by using their personal experiences and stories to create their spirits, rather than sticking solely to the history books and tradition.
