The Nusbaumer distillery was first established by Jos Nusbaumer in 1947 and has grown in popularity ever since. As their founder was quoted often saying "to distill is to extract the soul of the fruit". The distillery is located in Alsace in the heart of the Val de Villé. Thanks to its hot summers and harsh winters, the Val de Villé produces fruit well-suited for the manufacture of eaux-de-vie.
To date, the Nusbaumer house offers more than thirty varieties of fruit and wild berry brandies as well as a wide range of artisanal liqueurs.
In 2019 Nusbaumer launched their new plant-based Vegetable Range - flavoured with Jos'Berri gin and Aquavit Aptekarsky.
